Below is our 2025 New Moon Meditation:

In honour of the first New Moon of 2025 I have crafted a meditation focused on the astrological significance of the New Moon in Capricorn which supports breaking old patterns and making progress towards your dreams.
We are going to light our purple meditation candle for our time here tonight. Please settle into a comfortable position either, sitting or lying down. Close your eyes and focus on what you would like to set as your intention. This could be an intention for the meditation, the day, week or year ahead.
We are going to start with a breathing exercise, deep, deeper, deepest. Sitting or laying comfortably, eyes closed softly. Breath normally in through your nose, out through your mouth. Next breath in a little deeper in through your nose and out through your mouth, and again in deeper yet, in through your nose, out through your mouth. We now progress backwards and deep into your deepest place and exhale, breathing in a little more gently and exhaling, and returning to a comfortable breathing pace for our body scan.

Now, gently feel the whole of your body as one unit, as one living entity.
Now, imagine a serene landscape where you feel completely at peace. This may be a forest, a beach, or a cozy room filled with soft light. Picture the details: the colors, the sounds, the scents. Feel the comfort of this place wrapping around you, making you feel safe and grounded.
Visualize the energy of Capricorn, represented by a strong mountain. See yourself standing at the base, looking up at the majestic peak. The mountain symbolizes your goals and dreams, the heights you wish to reach. As you gaze upward, notice the path that winds toward the summit, representing the journey of growth and achievement.
Now, bring to mind your intentions for this New Moon. See them as glowing orbs of light in your hands. Each orb represents a specific intention or goal. As you hold them, feel their warmth and significance. When you are ready, gently place the orbs at the base of the mountain. Visualize them beginning to ascend the path toward the peak, taking flight toward manifestation.
Silently affirm: “I am committed to breaking old patterns. I embrace growth and transformation. I am ready to manifest my dreams.” As you repeat this affirmation, see it infusing your intentions with strength and clarity.
Slowly bring your awareness back to your physical body. Wiggle your fingers and toes. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, gently open your eyes. Take a moment to adjust to your surroundings, carrying the essence of your experience with you.
