I graduated in physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2000. I have practiced in orthopedics, pediatrics, and for the last 9 years, as a pelvic health therapist in Port Elgin, ON. I believe in a holistic approach to health and works in concert with many practitioners: naturopaths, massage therapists, psychologists, chiropractors, osteopaths, yoga instructors and more.
I also use many different modalities including acupuncture, pain education, guided meditation, myofascial release, & strengthening to help clients meet their goals.
I co-created Empowered Childbirth Education with Melissa Pinnegar, a Pelvic Health Yoga instructor. This course is run quarterly to help educate expecting couples on all the things they can do prenatally to support the birthing and postpartum process. It is one of my favourite things to teach!
In my spare time I research and educate health practitioners on essential oils and take as many pelvic health courses as I can! My passion is educating people about health and wellness so they can be empowered to maintain their own wellbeing. I am a mom to 2 busy kids and an attention-seeking chocolate lab, and am a doTERRA Wellness Advocate.
